Had a calm night from a storm during a camping trip. We even got to check in early with kids as we arrived way too early, “running” from the storm. Thanks!
The staff at reception is extremely helpful and they even offered help to carry my luggage upstairs, truly great stay there!

Amazing rooms very clean and all the amenities plus a bath. Service was slow but it was extremely busy so to be expected. However the service was really top notch.
We stayed here for one night the rooms were clean and had heated mats in the bed. Only downfall was the rooms were freezing cold. We ate at the restaurant at it was so good.

Went here for lunch. The food was delicious and catered for Gluten Free. Service was fast and the servers were lovely. We were seated in the bar area which was spacious and welcoming. Plenty of parking in the carpark at the front of the hotel. Would definitely phone and book as it is a busy place. Will definitely be back.
This review is mostly for the excellent restaurant, but we also had a very good experience staying at the hotel. Clean, comfortable, welcoming, and the bathroom had fantastic towels! Plus a nice view out over the town from our room. Food-wise, it was straight-forward but perfectly prepared comfort food. The soup of the day was a somewhat Thai inspired coconut/squash that had all the warmth you’d expect from a harvest soup but was lightened enough by the coconut to work as a summer dish. The steak pie was flawless. The beef melted in your mouth, the puff pastry was almost unbelievably flaky, and the gravy was the best I’ve ever had. The vegetables were cooked exactly right, and the brandy snap base of my banoffee dessert was delicious.
